Our People

Brighton and Hove Kitchens Ltd was founded by Jem Owen.  An independent family business, it has a strong ethos of providing first class customer care from start to finish.  Jem, a skilled carpenter, formed the company because of his belief that he could provide customers with fantastic service at a price to beat the high-street.

The company has since built up a solid customer base and is known for its high-spec products and fantastic customer care.  Much of the company's work comes through recommendations and repeat customers.

Managing Director Jem Owen is local to Brighton and Hove and has worked in the industry since leaving school. Frustrated by the poor service and products offered to many customers, Jem started Brighton and Hove Kitchens Ltd with the firm knowledge that he could do better.  Jem lives in Hove with his wife and young family.

Our Team Leader for Installations is Nick Young, a skilled and enthusiastic professional renowned for his friendly and approachable manner. Nick has worked for the company since 2006 and the fantastic recommendation his work receives speaks volumes.  Nick also lives locally with his family.

Design Consultant Graham Measor is a fellow Brightonian. He joined us in summer 2017 and his calm demeanor is valuable asset on any kitchen project. Graham has worked for kitchen companies for over 20 years and has a breadth of knowledge of both the local area and local suppliers.

Gina Parsons is the newest member of the team. She works part-time assisting with the management of the business and accounts. She helps maintain Jem’s vision of the company and our core values.

The company also has a full team of fitters, all of whom are skilled workmen personally vetted by Jem.
